Halfway during Mod

How the Black Pearl Mod works:

In front of the chopper you will see a black pearl
(Of course no other colour will work :o) )
that sits loosely on a loop-end beading pin.
Both can be obtained at a hobby shop.

When you turn right sharply the chopper tilts forward.
This causes the pearl to slide forward, pitching the chopper down slightly.
You are now in flight mode.
The chopper now flies forward at a good speed,
normal left and right turns don't slow the chopper down.
When you turn left sharply the chopper pitches up, causing the pearl to slide back into the body.
You are now in hover mode,
and can take off and land with precision.

Paint Used:
Daler Rowney Lamp Black (undiluted)
A very intense, high-cover paint - a little covers a large area without adding too much weight.

Canards
The canards have been moved forward, exposing the Infra-Red receiver (extending range)
and providing extra weight-distribution to the front
(at high throttle the wind from the blades pushes the canards down causing increased speed)

Tail

The PicooZ
PicooZ (PiccoZ) is a tiny (17cm) remote-controlled helicopter by Silverlit.
It was designed by Belgian Engineer Alexander Van de Rostyne
Probably the best micro-engineered gadget you will ever buy for under $35.
(Kids play with toys, adults explore micro-engineered gadgetry ;o) )

Tips for beginner:
You will probably have to mod your PicooZ to get best results.
A lot of instability you may experience is caused by the helicopter generating its own wind currents.

(The little motor is very powerful!)
The more refined you are with your movements the less turbulence you create for your PicooZ,
so make gentle movements and enjoy your flight!
