Basic Recipe ( makes 30 or so )
You need: Tin can with lip at both ends

1 cup flour / Ground Oatmeal
1 T salt
2 t Baking Powder
4T Butter or Margerine
+- 1/2c Milk

Mix together dry ingredients with a fork
Mix in the butter/marg until the flour turns yellow and the lumps are gone
Slowly add milk, 2T at a time, until a stiff, smooth, non-sticky dough forms

Take a golf-ball sized piece and roll out on a floured board with a tin can.
The tin makes the perfect thickness
(you can also place a few stacked cards at either side of the surface and use a rolling pin)
Slice into a long, narrow strip where the tin has left marks
Cut into desired size, or press with a cookie-cutter
Pierce all over with a fork

Place onto ungreased baking tray and bake for 10 min at 180C until lightly golden brown
