The Universe of Proof and Truth
Zen Eraser

Zen Universe
Let us cordon off this section
(draws a square on the sand)
and call it the universe.
We enter this Universe with nothing except our bodies.
( Gakusei and Zen enter with nothing)
We can not reference anything outside of this universe,
because we do not know about it.
We may not use any concept that alludes
to anything or anyone outside this universe.

Now prove what you want to prove.
(Gakusei tries several theories and is
caught by the bounds of the Universe each time)

Zen Pursuit
Zen: Tell me one thing you know to be true
Gakusei: I exist
Zen: What is an ' I '?
Gakusei: A thinking being
Zen: What is a being?
Gakusei: A human being, with thoughts and feelings and a body
Zen: What is a body?
Gakusei: A collection of organs and liquids
Zen: What is an organ?
Gakusei: An organic thing that has a function
Zen: What is organic?
Gakusei: Something alive
Zen: What is it made of? What is it?
Gakusei: Chemicals, proteins, amino acids
Zen: What is a chemical?
An accumulation of elements
Zen: What is an element?
Gakusei: A group of atoms
Zen: What is an atom?
Gakusei: A group of electrical charges
Zen: What is electricity
Gakusei: The flow between negative and positive
Zen: What is negative and what is positive
Gakusei: I don't know
Zen: But you said you did.
(Gakusei tries other theories and is pursued
until he admits he knows nothing. Zen enters
and Gakusei fails to ask a question Zen can not answer.
Can you deduce the concept Zen proposed?)
