There are few of
us left, gentlemen.
Do you want to be a gentleman?
You should.
You must be a Gentleman at all times.
How to be a gentleman:
Respect.
On Ladies
Ladies go first, in all cases, unless there is obvious danger.
A Lady's opinion is always more important than your own.
You will always defend a Lady's honour, and stop if the Lady asks it.
You will always spend money on a Lady, even if it your last money. Never
admit to having none.
Always listen to a Lady's talking, Ladies do talk a great deal, practice
enjoying it and listening.
Always have something interesting to converse about. Spontaneity can be
well researched. Read magazines and books.
Always include a Lady in the conversation, engage her interest and intellect.
Never talk to, always speak with.
In the bedroom a gentleman is a strong man, with a firm but gentle heart.
A gentleman should prepare food for a Lady at least once a week. Learning
the art of cuisine is a necessary skill for a gentleman.
A gentleman must keep his body in good shape at all times. Fitness is
required for the happiness of a Lady.
On Society.
Always allow the other person to have respect.
When walking, always give way to others.
Always offer help to those with heavy loads.
Not offering a Lady help is unforgivable.
Always wear neat, presentable clothes. Spend money on your appearance,
thus showing your respect for yourself and those around you.
On Dining.
A gentleman knows the best places to eat.
A gentleman is always patient and courteous to the waiter.
Compliment the waiter on a good meal, request the waiter inform the chef
if the food was lacking.
Always let a Lady into her seat first, let her choose her seat.
Always stand up when a Lady leaves the table, no exceptions.
Never speak with your mouth full.
Do not overeat. If necessary have a snack waiting at home.
Always order a starter and a light dessert.
You may order for a Lady if she can not decide on her meal.
Always pay for the meal, no exceptions.
On Abilities
A gentleman must be proficient with:
Writing, spelling and grammar
Public speaking
Cooking
Massage
One or more art forms ( Creative writing, painting, music, dancing )
Sensuality and sexuality.
Physical fitness
Business and finance
On private
life
The mark of a true gentleman is his behaviour when alone - it does not
differ from his behaviour in public.
On The Home
A home must be kept tidy and clean always.
The kitchen should be hygienic, implements should be stainless steal or
high-quality cookware.
The bathroom should be prepared for a Lady's visit - spare razors, toothbrushes,
clean, soft towels...
Furniture should be comfortable and neat.
A television or computer should be covered when not it use.
So
Go out and be a gentleman, don't be afraid to be one.
