This chart shows the evolution of astral gods from the dawn of written history.
The word Angel derives from the ancient Norse(northern) word Ångelle
(pronounced ang gel) meaning star or light.
This has evolved into Engelle, and back to Angel. ArchAngel refers to planet,
or deceptive/moving star. (ceptive = captive, deceptive = not captive)
The ancient Vikings traveled the globe and navigated by the stars. They recognised
that some stars moved while others kept still. The term archangel means "deceptive
star ", or a star that cannot be navigated.
First pictgraphic writing found in Mesopotamia - The pictures represented constellations
of stars.
It was spread around the world by African and Norse sailors.
The character Å derives from the pictogram Eagle representing the sun
above the mountain, the moon, an important person or a planet. Ancient Norse
soothsayers tried to divine the future of people by tracking the stars. Names
of important people were written with a circle above them, or halo, to represent
their place in society as equal to the Sun's place in the sky.
The Hebrew language evolved from the ancient pictograms, the character Å
became "Hey", or "look there".
England means Angel-Land, or land where light people live.
The word Heaven derives from the old Icelandic word heofon, meaning
sky. Angels in Heaven means stars in the sky.
The ancient mythologies largely originate from the movement
of stars and planets. Battles or love affairs were thought to be predicted
by planets overlapping stars.
E.g. Jupiter fought a giant three headed snake - Jupiter passing through Orion
and the Milky Way
Theories:
It is difficult to give an exact name for one Egyptian celestial deity because
they were named in procession, changing places depending on the year and the
current dominant religion. (Based on zodiac house?) Did the shape above their
head give their current celestial 'role'? E.g. Ra with sun above, Isis with
horns above. Isis with snakes above.
